★★★★★Nasty People in the steam bath during free swim time .. Be warned you will be paying while the rif raff gets the steam room for free because of deal with city.. Smell is awful in the steam room not cleaned properly only with cleaning product and water no scrubbing. Dirty people dirty Free swim time.

★★★★Some highlights from my time at the YMCA du Parc: - being kicked off the treadmill because the staff did not explain to me that they need to be reserved - stopping my workout because it's ridiculously hot in the gym; being told by the trainers that they're not allowed to adjust the temperature - being charged a $15 "administrative fee" without warning because my payment did not go through - enjoying the smell of hot chlorine any time I want to work out - going to the front desk to cancel my membership 5 days before the end of the month; being told it has to be done 7 days in advance; speaking to a manager about my (very personal) financial worries; receiving no help (or sympathy) in return; being charged for the full upcoming month, leaving me without enough money to buy food! If this sounds like your ideal gym membership--you're in luck! The YMCA du Parc is the place for you!

★★★★★I have been a member for a little more than 2 years. The staff members are very pleasant and the gym is more than adequate, especially if you are into free weights. It saddens me to have to cancel my membership, but I am just fed up and disgusted with the situation in the changing room. Because access to the Y's swimming pool is free of charge for city residents, the steam room is almost always full and overcrowded. There is also a regular bunch of changing room loiterers who will spend all day sitting there. This high traffic naturally leaves the place dirty and brings in a clientele that does not typically care for respecting rules and proper hygiene.

★★★★★The YMCA has everything a gym needs, and is also a great community center. They just redid the women's locker room which is now lovely. The classes are great and come with the membership.

★★★★★Overall pretty good! They have a good selection of classes every day and the weight room is clean with a fair amount of machines. There is a board to sign up for cardio machines when the gym is busy. Fair price for the monthly membership, about 50$/mo. The only caveat is that the gym/weight room hours differ from the hours for the rest of the center, which isn't really mentioned anywhere (7:30PM on weekends, 10:30PM during the week).
